Medizinische Hochschule Hannover (MHH)
Hannover Medical School is a medical center and one of the leading medical universities and biomedical research institutions in Germany. It combines more than 80 clinics, institutes and research facilities. MHH ́s research focus is set on transplantation & stem cell research / regenerative medicine, infection and immunity, as well as biomedical engineering & implant research.
As a part of MHH, the Institute for Laboratory Animal Science and Central Animal Facility (Ztm) is dedicated to research by linking basic science to research topics in the field of laboratory animal science. The facility breeds and maintains various animal models in different barrier-sustained units. The Ztm covers all aspects of laboratory animal science and medicine in service and research including gnotobiology, reproductive biology, genetics, health and infection, anesthesia, histopathology and animal welfare.
